Abstract
The article deals with the relations between the League of Communists of Yugoslavia and the Romanian Communist Party (Partidul Comunist Român) from the mid-1980s until the fall of Nicolae Ceaușescu's regime in 1989. The paper focuses on the contacts between the leading representatives of the two communist parties and the views of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia and the Romanian Communist Party on the global processes in the late 1980s.
